Customer Engagement – one of the most baffling mysteries to new entrepreneurs. Customer Engagement is the interaction between you as a business and your clients/customers. How do you get them to interact with you? How do you get people excited about the things you are excited? The short answer is, by letting people know about the idea that excites you. 1. Keep Your Clients In The Loop

This is one sure way to bring in customer engagement. Let your customers know what happens behind the scenes of your firm- from photos of your staff to videos of your products in the making, to blog posts on or by one of your staffs are some example of this method. Showing what lies underneath your company will show you in a favorable light and also instill a sense of curiosity to the audience. Content as such will also grab the attention of your potential clients and partners, compel them to get in touch with you.

2. Keep You Eyes And Ears Peeled.

Aside from you giving out information about yourself online, there are many sources where others speak about you- we are talking about review sites. If you happen to run a restaurant, hotel, tourist center or some form of an entertainment center, chances are your name has been mentioned on review sites such as Yelp or TripAdvisor. Keep a close tab on what is being said about you online. Good reviews tell you that you are headed in the right direction, back reviews teach you on what to improve on, so keep your eye peeled.

3. Respond To Your Customers

We can not emphasize on this enough point enough. What your customers say about you and your company is gold, you need to use it wisely. The customer would often contact you in a case of any doubt or queries and more so eagerly if their experience with your service was not up to the mark. Listen to their suggestions and comments and respond accordingly. Be swift but be precise in your response, your customers will appreciate that. Your eagerness in responding shows your willingness to listen and change. Set up a feedback page on your site to better channel all the responses to one web page.

4. Engage Your Crowd in Events

Mingle with your customers – be in constant touch and excite them giving out an attractive deal, bargains, and discounts. Keep your social media platforms exciting and engaging all the time. This will get you on a personal level with your customers as they are more eager to talk with you. By holding events and competitions, you can quickly drive more traffic to your site. And also by giving out discounts and deals, your customers are satisfied, so it is a win-win situation for you.
